Hello Everyone,

I'm jolocus, 21 years old from Germany.

As you can see in my header I'm a Movie-and Horror-geek. I watch movies almost daily, sometimes even more. My favorite movie genre is Horror, I just can't get enough of Horror Movies, Books and everything horror all together. I first started watching Horror movies with my friends when I was around 14 and they were fun. Later I found James Rolfe aka the Angry Video Game Nerd and his Monster Madness, where he posts Horror Review-Videos every day for the month of October on his website Cinemassacre.com . He got me into the old horror movies. Then, just about 2 years ago I found the HorrorEtc Podcast, where Tony, Ted and sometimes Doug talk about horror movies every week. I'm still catching up on their episodes but I'm pretty sure I will be through all of them soon. They are the main reason I started this Blog: I love talking about movies. Initially I wanted to do a Podcast, but the hosting alone is soo stressful that I decided to start more simple, with a Blog. This idea came to me because of a good friend, Susan, who started her Blog about MakeUp and Shoes recently and got me into the whole blogging thing.

By now I've got plans for at least two weekly postings: 

• MovieMonday, where I will post my thoughts about a movie I've recently watched, rewatched, or just wanted to talk about.
• What I've been Watching Wednesday, where I will Update you on the movie I have Watched in the last seven days.

I've also got plans for more stuff that won't be weekly but whenever I feel like it. That includes:

• TrashTuesday, where I will talk about a trash movie I've watched
• ThrowbackThursday, where I will tell you about some older flicks
• FreakyFriday, where I will write about horror movies
• SpecialSunday, like this one right here, where I post some stuff that maybe has nothing to do with Movies, maybe it will, but you never know ;)

Sooo, this post already got longer than I thought so I guess I'll end it right here, but I hope you will come back on MovieMonday to read about my thoughts about the movie Boyhood.
