This was a very interesting documentary. It's about Shep Gordon, a guy that normal people don't know but every big name in the world loves him.
It's made by his close friend and fan, Mike Myers, so this is a very one sided documentary. According to this, Shep Gordon is basically a god or should be celebrated as one. Also, he has Midas touch and turns everything into gold.
But I'm alright with that. It is a very interesting story about a man I knew nothing about, it has many big stars, not only movie stars but also music legends and chefs.
I was a little annoyed by some of the scenes in the documentary, because sometimes, Myers just spliced random movie scenes in there that kind of fit the context. But at the same time, that's kind of the charme of it.
All in all, I enjoyed this documentary and even though I had some problems with it, it is a good directorial debut by Mike Myers. Also, I kind of wanna go to one of Shep Gordons parties now.
