Krampus, 2015 - ★★★★

'tis the season.

After watching Trick'r'Treat for Halloween and really liking it, I decided to check out Michael Dougherty's next Holiday movie.
When I first heard about this I thought it would be a straight up horror. But by now I expected comedy, black comedy, with many scary elements.

And that's what I got. A fun story, interesting characters, and still lots of darkness.

The acting was good, even by the children.

What I loved the most were the monsters, sometimes CGI that was not as convincing, but mostly the practical beings. They looked awesome and really scary.

As always I gotta give a shout-out to a movie casting a real German actress as a German, talking real German.

I had a fun time with this movie and I'm rating it 4 out of 5 stars and a like.
