Review #6 of My Horrible Collection: Shocktober list.

I guess we've now officially transcended the zombie genre. Zombies are not the main focus of Zombie movies anymore. They are basically a MacGuffin.

This movie is about Maggie, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzeneggers character. She was bitten by a Zombie and now has only a short time until she will turn into a Zombie. That time she can spend at home with her family and her friends.

Zombies are really just a side note. This could really be about any terminal disease. Turning into a Zombie makes the story a little more interesting because basically after your death, you can still be harmful to others.

The acting is great, Arnold doing just a little bit of Arnold and mostly playing a real human being.

The Zombie effects are well done, we get a few different stages of becoming a Zombie. I think throughout the whole movie we see maybe 5 Zombies, but they are well done.

I really enjoyed this movie because at its core it's a drama about death, just set around Zombies. I'm rating this movie 4 out of 5 stars and a like.
