I've seen this movie before I saw Star Wars. I saw this movie before I even understood most of it. So there is probably a bit of nostalgia speaking when I say that I loved this movie.
Instead of the more recent parody movies like the Starving Games or Meet the Spartans, this movie is just as funny if you have never seen a movie before, even though it is constantly referencing star wars and lots of other movies.
Lord Helmet is a clear parody of Darth Vader, but he is funny enough that you like the character without knowing Star Wars, because it's a giant helmet, and because Rick Morainis is a god.
Pizza the Hutt is funny because he is a parody of Jabba the Hut while being a play on Pizza Hut, but even if you're like 6 year old me and never heard of either of these, you still think it's funny cause he is a giant mountain of talking pizza.
That's what works throughout this movie. And I love it. Those are the reason I'm staying with my initial rating of 4 stars while adding a like.
