The Lobster, 2015 - ★★★★

Again the author and director of Dogtooth manages to deeply disturb me more than once in not even 2 hours.

The lobster is a beautiful yet disturbing story about love.

You start off thinking this is at first a normal hotel, very fast you think "okay, this is a crazy hotel" before you realize that it is not a crazy hotel but actually a crazy world.

The acting was good by all actors, especially Colin Farrell who I almost didn't recognize.

And it was not only the world around the characters that was crazy, but also the characters themselves. And not just in their behavior but also in the way they talk, move, everything.

It all gave this movie a creepy feeling that I quite enjoyed. I'd actually love to find out more about this world, or would have enjoyed being there even longer.

It is a really astonishing movie with one of the most original ideas in recent memory. I'm rating it 4 out of 5 stars and a like.
