The Brand New Testament, 2015 - ★★★★½

What a great mix of ... pretty much everything. We have lots of great humor, we have a new kind of perspective on the Bible that might offend some hardcore Christians, but if you have any sense of humor you will have a good time.

But it also has heart, lots of it. There are some great philosophic thoughts in this, some things that could be (and even might be) in the bible to some extend.

I also really like the idea that starts off the plot: Every person learns their date of death. What would you do of that? Would you like it or would it be horrible? These are the kind of questions you wouldn't ask yourself during most comedies, but this movie manages to walk this line between fun and deep perfectly.

Adding to that it's well shot and just my style of humor, visual and in words. I'm rating this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars, a like and a big recommendation.
