As a German who never really listened to much techno music I always wondered why Americans seem to think Germany is the home of techno.
Now I know.
But even though we see Lola running for a lot of this movie, there is a lot more to it. Every character is interesting and Tykwer tells this story in an interesting way. We get 3 different outcomes to a story, each similar while also different. We get stories about background characters that only utter one word.
The movie is fast paced, and not only because Lola is running. Franka Potente does a great job portraying Lola, Moritz Bleibtreu is also great. Also all the background characters are really well acted.
All in all I really enjoyed this little movie, and with only 71 minutes, it's really well paced.I'm rating this movie 4 out of 5 stars and a like.
