Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead, 2014 - ★★★★★

This movie was basically made for me.

Dead Snow: Red VS Dead is set directly after Dead Snow, with Martin, the main guy, fighting the Zombies. He flees but has a car crash and wakes up in a hospital. The doctors attached the arm of the Nazi-Zombie boss to Martin, so now he has superpowers. The Nazi-Zombies are coming to take over the city. He needs to stop it with the help of three Americans: The Zombie Squad.

This alone should be enough for you to decide if you will like this movie or not. Do you like over the top action? Over the top gore? Over the top everything?

As a big fan of Braindead, the goriest movie ever made, it is no surprise that I love this movie. I'm pretty sure they got inspired by that movie.

This movie is also great because, as a sequel, it doesn't just do the same again like most horror sequels. It follows along the story, puts in new characters that you actually start to like and care about. It manages to go even more over the top while also explaining a few things from the first movie, like why they can talk and why they are smart.

I love the comedy. There is much physical comedy in this movie, done by the Zombies. And it's funny because it's over the top.

Also, there are many practical effects in this movie. Of course they touched it up using CGI, but there are many scenes that were done practically, and the Zombie makeup was also done practically.

I could go on forever about why I love this movie, but I will stop myself right here and just tell you to watch it. I'm rating it 5 out of 5 stars and giving it a big like.
