Similar to his earlier movie, Outer Space, Tscherkassy again cut Entity from 1980 into a different movie, different storyline, different feeling.
A woman goes to sleep and has a dream ... or is it a nightmare?
I liked this, even a little more than Outer Space, I think because the nightmare setting feels a little more ... appropriate for this kind of editing.
I love how he was able to cut this out of a (as far as I know) completely different movie.
Of course this is only a short movie with no real plot or anything like that, but it is art. The editing is masterfully done, it feels frightening. I enjoyed it and I'm rating it 4 out of 5 stars.
