Soultaker, 1990

You can also find this review on Letterboxd

Watched as main feature at the Letterboxd Movie Night #10.

It happened. We watched Soul TAKOORRR!!!!
And to be honest, it wasn't even as bad as I thought. Actually one of the best non-short movies we watched in the movie night. Which, of course, isn't saying much.

Of course it is still bad and full of plot holes and bad acting. But the editing was really good. And other than that they didn't use Stairway to heaven in the soundtrack I also liked the music.

Also this movie is very quotable ... or maybe that was just because we usually watched the trailer at least 2 or 3 times before every movie on the movie night.

"Led Zeppelin was wrong, man. There is no Stairway to heaven."
No, it's an elevator.

All in all I enjoyed this more than I should. Can't rate this without using my (non-existing) credibility on letterboxd, so I will just not.
